About Us

My Company has been in operation for 24 years and has established its good name by the quality and most importantly the personal service I provide.

We are situated in the small Village of Fish Hoek on The Cape Peninsula, South Africa some  21km South by train from Cape Town.

Fish Hoek Valley faces False Bay on the East ( Not the Indian Ocean as some would believe ) and The Atlantic sea board to the West.

Architectural Design

Due to my extensive experience in Methods and Advancing materials used in the Construction Industry, I am able to Design your new home to suite your budget.

I have also designed and built  over 50 Thatch roof  as well as Timber frame structures. These are design disciplines in themselves.

Procedure:

Stage 1: Appraisal and definition of Project  5%of total

Meeting with clients to discuss and establish the Design parameters and desired finishes

Stage 2: Design Concept 15% of total

I then produce a contour drawing of  your land so as to Design your new home or office to suite the contours and environment of the Area.

This is a fundamental process in the Design procedure, as it is at this stage that one establishes the  criteria necessary for the economics of the structure to be built, as well as the impact on the Environment and aesthetics of the building.

Produce First Design sketches.

Stage 3: Design Development 15% of total

Produce Working drawings  for clients comment and input.

Stage 4: 40% of total

Produce Final working drawings in consultation with required Engineers and other specialized contractors as well as  keeping the Client involved at all stages of the Design process.

Compile Tender documents and acquire Quotes from reputable Contractors for the execution of the works.

Stage 5: Contract administration.  25% of total

Oversee the implementation of works with Inspections and reports to client.

Project management:  Separate fee structure

All structures on this site have been designed & constructed by me.
